- 🚨 Very happy to have a new study out in @bjpols.bsky.social with @kristinabsimonsen.bsky.social We research across 8 countries what drives parties to use moral rhetoric in their communication: www.cambridge.org/core/journal...
- We focus specifically on immigration. The findings show that elite polarization is the most important factor which pushes all parties—not just extremes—to use moral language, claiming the high ground by framing opponents as morally wrong.
