- Our work ✴️ presents the first quantitative predator proteome over the whole predatory process in which B. bacteriovorus (the predatory bacterium) kills, digests and lyses the bigger prey bacterium. ✴️ reveals that one predator protease is highly abundant during and involved in the prey exit process.
