- Not being in single-cell genomics but having had colour blind co-workers: there are many many plots in papers that have the same problem. Programmes such as inkscape or illustrator will allow you to preview figures in „colour blind“ - it‘s a simple check to do!

On the topic of pooled CRISPR screens, the left is "replicate correlation" when simply examining the abundance of guide RNAs, i.e. log-normalized read counts. On the right is taking those same data and subtracting from a common starting point, i.e. pDNA.
