- I know it may seem a bit smug, but I am thrilled to not have a single piece of “smart home” tech in my residence. No doorbell camera, no automation of coffee makers or thermostats. Is it totally off-grid? No - but it’s a lot less connected than most. Disconnect if you can - it matters more now.
