- Crosswalks are slightly better this evening although some of them have hit the “slurry” stage where they are deep icy puddles.
- Following a brisk 3 miles through The Devil’s Playground and Columbia Heights, I will say this. Citizens have really stepped up. The sidewalks while not perfect are incredibly manageable. The crosswalks are a fucking nightmare unless some hero dug then out. Good luck heading to school today!
- Mother fluffing Marine helicopter is back at it. Back and forth to the Observatory.
- After a brisk 2.8 mile walk through MtP and The Devil’s Playground I will say the sidewalks are in better shape than the side streets and the intersections are awful. The people who shoveled crosswalks are heroes

- 😭😭 I just looked at the long range forecast and after tomorrow it’s not above freezing again until Feb. 4! And even then it’s only 35! 😭 I mean the inner circle of Dante’s hell was frozen so I get it but still. 😭
