Professional law enforcement does not pull guns on bystanders, protesters, or anyone who isn’t an active physical threat. It took everything I had to not put that in all caps.

What’s happening in Minneapolis isn’t policing, it’s a militarized DHS unit intimidating citizens and observers on public streets. Federal agents have drawn weapons on legal observers and have already killed at least two people during these operations. Congress must defund this DHS escalation.
