- I 'member this blowing my mind, but in reverse, because it was the BBC F1 theme song and then I heard the whole song one day, and the second half went on and I'm like "omg it's an actual song, not just a theme song for f1?" wholly unexpected.

- good convo's with friends make me remember that life is better when there's less complaining, more gratitude.
- I actually really enjoyed Tim Travers & the Time Travelers Paradox. It seemed so indie, but with people I like watching. It was rough around the edges, but in the best way. Almost like watching a stage play, focused on theoretical science. Highly recommend going in with an open mind and patience.

- The cool thing about so much hate for highguard is that I can be the unpopular opinion and say "it's fine, if you want a free decent CS1.6 warcraft 3 mod Multiplayer with unreal tournament assault mode" and also "what a time to be alive that we have so many cool games we can all play!"

- Have been exhausted all week, I think I accrued a massive sleep debt all week, after staying up 24hrs on Sunday for the stream and then averaging 6.5 hour sleeps. Slept 13 hrs last night and feeling more human now.
- Yep, this one is a banger. Okomotive with a game that reminds me of that one level of ballionaire that i love. Very excited, and that music!
- I think we're going to be seeing game dev post-mortems about how highguard has a successful marketing campaign on zero budget. All these people talking about it, and silence, makes people talk more. Everyone's going to stream it out of curiosity, and bam, next apex Legends, better than shadow drop.

- I have this problem/blessing about not playing "hype games", so I have only just got around to this: Ubisoft ANZ graciously gave me a copy of Star Wars: Outlaws and I just played the prologue last night and it was bloody amazing. Now I'm in the open world so hope it continues!
- Splurged my scholarship funds on a 9070xt for reasons a) resolve was complaining about running out of vram, b) paranoid about the memory cost increase making it unaffordable layer, c) youngest has a 670 that struggles in PEAK. 9070xt kicks ass! Kids loving their upgrades.
- Over 150hrs in C2077 (due to restarting when I come back to it) and finally rolled credits 😂. What a phenomenal ending - now to do phantom liberty. I can't remember a game being so immersive, maybe half-life? Always feels like I'm in night city. The music, the characters...
- I love Australian musicals. This one's about a neighbour we've all had.
- I like to put these two sauces together, I imagine it as the most British sauce ever working arm in arm with the most USAmerican sauce.
- I have recognised certain markers in TV shows that I enjoy immensely. When they check all 3, it's top tier for me: ✅ Musical episode ✅ Felicia Day / Nathan Fillion cameo ✅ Crossover / parody episode The magicians hits all 3 and I love it, but there are others that get 2 of 3!

- We've been handwashing dishes for over a year since the machine broke down, MissSEA got a fully functional (newer!) machine off marketplace for $20! Saving at least an hour a day. I'm mad grateful. Although dishes were my ideation time 😅 - will have to have more baths instead.
- Although I prefer indie games on the whole, I do play some corpo stuff. This holidays has been full of battlefield 6 and diablo 4 (I feel the latter is almost at the level of fun that I had with d3).
