Splurged my scholarship funds on a 9070xt for reasons a) resolve was complaining about running out of vram, b) paranoid about the memory cost increase making it unaffordable layer, c) youngest has a 670 that struggles in PEAK.
9070xt kicks ass! Kids loving their upgrades.
Jan 14, 2026 02:52The 5700xt I had performed fine, but it's been a few years since I was able to run games at maximum. I was able to stream an av1 1440p to YouTube at the same time as twitch standard 1080p,and to beam (great multistreaming platform!)
