- Been great to see my parents and friends, but I'm ready to be home! Have another few weeks and a conference, but I'm willing to give up craft beer for un café à un café.
- I don't know what the United States will need to do in order to atone to the rest of the world, but it'll need to be substantial.
- Updated Word -> EndNote not working, fonts missing, styles disappearing. Fresh install fixed the fonts and I can redo the styles, but it's enough of an impediment that rather than work on an article, I'm skeeting about it.

- The PDF of my degree arrived today! The paper one will arrive in a few weeks. Wasn't exactly holding my breath, but if I got an email about some random class 4 years ago, I wouldn't have been surprised.

- Not mine! And, moreover, you have to have 9 credit hours in the current + 2 previous semesters, rolling. Spring - 3 credits; Summer - 3 credits; you're ready to defend in the fall, so you want 1 credit... nope. That's only 7 so you have to take 3 for compliance. Think I did 1, 7, 1.
- My TikTok in the US shows more nonsense and sponsored ads than while in France. And somehow I ended up on the "Star Trek was never political" side. Whewboy. I knew these dolts existed, but they thankfully haven't been in my space.

- Great last day of the writing retreat with @stemhands.bsky.social! I arrived with 3 goals, knowing the last would be a stretch; I knocked off 2, gave some feedback, watched the Bills pull off a nailbiter, and absolutely dominated in gin rummy! Worthwhile weekend!
