- Elon Musk's net worth just hit $800 billion. How? One of his corporations acquired another one of his corporations. Meanwhile, Elon's companies pay next to nothing in federal income taxes and get billions of dollars in government contracts. This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
- Jeff Bezos took over the Washington Post Editorial Board and turned it into a mouthpiece for pro-corporate, pro-billionaire propaganda. Now, WaPo is laying off hundreds of *real* journalists — including the reporter covering Amazon. Democracy dies in billionaire hands.
- This is a big deal. No matter how many awful things come out of this White House, you can organize your community to fight back against tyranny. We must also continue to boycott ICE's corporate collaborators like Amazon, AT&T, and any other company trying to profit off this misery.
- Retiring Walmart CEO Doug McMillon made $27M last year, over 930 times the median Walmart worker's salary of just $29,469. Walmart's wages are so low that its workers are among the most likely to rely on SNAP and Medicaid to get by. Hello?
- "Imagine if we actually followed the Constitution."
- ICE is running a “conveyor belt” of illegally detained Minnesota families. Agents are arresting entire families with legal status and immediately shipping them off to Texas to deny them legal representation and avoid the federal courts in Minnesota. The cruelty is endless.
- ICE is now claiming it can arrest people without a warrant. This comes after another internal memo asserting ICE agents can forcibly enter homes without a judicial warrant. Hello? Democrats cannot let these blatantly unconstitutional actions continue. Not another penny for ICE.
- America's Sleeping Giant roared when police attacked civil rights marchers. And when Nixon tried to cover up Watergate. Today it roars in Minneapolis and around the country — at the jack-booted thugs occupying our cities.
- What gives you hope in these awful times? I’ll tell you my answer: the people of Minneapolis.
