- Another classic #OldHammer mini from our library! This classic 1987 (I think?) Heinrich Kimmler, courtesy of @brickie78.bsky.social, is a fantastic opportunity to paint a real piece of #Warhammer history! The end of his staff is missing, which could be a fun challenge for an aspiring modeller.

- Word of advice for any #PrideOnParade participants: Deciding to do the Progress Flag on, for instance, holsters, as a unifying detail, is a great idea on paper, until you realize you need to do another 7 of them at least. It's a tricky thing to paint small. 😅 #nerdlings

- I did see the snarky alt text! I think everybody had That Eldar Player at our local gaming store in the late 90s & early 2000s and I absolutely do know what you mean though. It was pretty fun playing 'em using Templars with a Blessed Hull Land Raider when the 4th Ed codex came out :P
- Also you don't need to be super good to do a thing! We've got some 3E Guardsmen in the collection that need a bit of rescuing if you'd like to just take part!
- Honestly I'd probably take the Eldar. As with a lot of others here, they're one of the armies I don't have enough of. If you want to paint some old metal though, we've got a bunch in our collection!

- I know what it's like to have a scattered focus (neurodivergence est) but that does look very solid. I know it's super early in the process but those are some super nice fundamentals for a base coat, really nice coverage without sacrificing detail & clean lines :)

- I thought that might be the case. It does seem odd that it's such a completely different sculpt to any other early GW horses that I'm aware of though; I have a bunch of WHFB horses of various kinds and none are similar.

- Well I can't tell you what A Horse's deadname was, but that's the title of its entry in our miniatures list (no.19, link below) :P All of the minis in this list are available for the cost of postage & a donation of your choosing to Mermaids. We'd love to see them painted up in Pride colours :)

- So GW have released a big head add on pack & some of the heads can be interpreted as a bit fem. Yay for those of us who are forever chasing such heads. But seriously it once again shows how when stripped of artificial markers like make up, human heads are not that disparate & have a lot of overlap.

- Oh wow! Do you know, I think I know where I got it now? I'm about 90% sure I mail ordered specifically the metal sprue with the power sword arm and helmet on it, way back when you could actually do that!

- Haha I know the BA part was from 3E, it's been in my bits box since about 2002. Absolutely zero recollection where I got it from though. The DA shoulders are 3E too I think? I bought a couple of Dark Angels to convert as Templars because of the robes.
