Another option in our library if you want to paint something old is this pair of metal Tactical Marines that I believe were originally released in either RT or 2E 40K- do any of you know which? These can be supplied with RT Phobos or 3E Godwyn-pattern Bolters and I have a range of accessories too!

The metal bodies are late Rogue Trader releases, and were the "main" Space Marines for 2nd edition. Arms; guns; shoulder pads and some backpacks (both in the first picture, the third in the second picture) are 3rd edition era. The backpack with banner is 2nd. The similar one next to it is RT.

Thanks! I appreciate the knowledge :) I did know some of that but my memory gets fuzzy- I only started collecting seriously in 2001, before that I'd been a filthy casual on the fringes of the hobby :)
