- We are thrilled to share our new pre-print on the molecular anatomy of nuclear proteasome in human sperm cells! #In-cellcryo-ET + #SPA + #LM! @piotrkolata.bsky.social @a-dsantos.bsky.social, @tomdendooven.bsky.social!! doi.org/10.64898/202...
- We discovered giant membrane-less islands of proteasomes in human sperm nuclei, containing 20S and 20S-PA200 populations! We solved their in situ structure at sub-nanometer resolution (up to 6.8 Å) and in vitro at near-atomic resolution (1.8 Å)!

- Reposted by Allegretti Lab“The Website” is here! It can be intimidating getting into analysis of #CryoET data, and software is evolving all the time👩💻🚀. @phaips.vd.st & @florentwaltz.bsky.social put our lab’s workflows into an online guide. We hope this helps lower the bar to joining #TeamTomo. Feedback much appreciated! 🧪🧶🧬🔬
- Hey #TeamTomo, Ever been in need of a tutorial about the fundamentals of cryo-electron tomography? From preprocessing raw frames to high-res subtomogram averaging? That's why @florentwaltz.bsky.social and I made this website! tomoguide.github.io Follow the thread 1 /🧵 #CryoET #CryoEM 🔬🧪

- Reposted by Allegretti LabCrosslinks can sometimes improve AlphaFold3 models. Crosslinking is an experimental method often used as a source of distance restraints in modeling. In AlphaFold3, instead of using restraints, crosslinks can be included as covalent ligands. Thanks to Agnieszka Obarska-Kosinska for the idea.
