- A person who apologises, as Keir has done recently, deserves respect. My advice to Labour MPs here is to get behind the government, as mainly has been done already, I know. I hope the consequences for Mandelson are swift and severe. I also want to see changes in government, and better focus.

- Reposted by magnetron21January was a busy month in Bournemouth East, and a reminder of why I love this job. As always, my surgeries are running regularly, and I’m out and about most weeks.

- Reposted by magnetron21England's water companies promise £104bn investment by 2030. Shareholders won't pay, customers will. Shareholders will own resulting assets, income streams. Customers already paid, companies handed £85bn dividend to shareholders. 35% of customer bills pays for debt interest and dividends.
- Reposted by magnetron21The truth about Mandelson must come out - we should also recognise we need to reform the way we make appointments to ensure no powerful man or woman can evade accountability and probity. Other countries bring more scrutiny into that process - it’s time we did too.

- Reposted by magnetron21The revelations regarding Lord Mandelson are indefensible. Yet I fear they will also not surprise or shock as many as they should given the toxicity that now infects our body politic and its working cultures. 1/2

- Reposted by magnetron21Most people know, it’s only Labour that can beat Reform in Gorton and Denton. Labour in Manchester is delivering - better buses, more social housing, more GP appointments, more police on the beat. 👇🏻
