- I'm really pleased Glasgow City Council is taking the lead on restoring the lost tenements at Albert Cross in Pollokshields. There's a long way to go but this is a really positive step for the local community.

Without additional funding, there will be approx. 140 job losses this year alone.
- Thanks to the Glasgow Bell for the chance to talk about local tax. We need to be doing a lot more than just piecemeal devolution of powers and tweaking the current, regressive council tax. All parties should be pushing for substantial reform in the next parliament.

- I'm sure East Ren does deliver excellent services, but at least part of the context for that is that 57% of its dwellings are in Council Tax Bands E-H. In Glasgow, just 17% are. It's well past time that parties united to replace the broken council tax system.
