Every Glasgow secondary school is now getting an action plan to improve mental health for boys & young men
Despite
@scottishgreens.org increasing funding for in-school mental health services and counselling, far too few boys are taking it up.
These action plans will hopefully change attitudes and provide young men with healthy coping mechanisms, rather than turning to violence & misogyny
We’re also training school staff on gender-based violence prevention and tackling harmful online trends & misinformation
This should make our young men more mentally healthy and move them away from manosphere, misogyny and incel culture which preys on young men’s vulnerabilities
