- Thank you all for getting out campaigning today! 💚💚💚
- Reposted by Lorna Slater MSPAngus, you know fine and well the constituency boundary was shifted southwards in a manner that incorporated large parts of Labour-held Edinburgh Southern, fundamentally changing the nature of the seat to a (near) marginal vs Labour. Behave! ballotbox.scot/sp26-edinbur...
- Is it really just 2, Angus? 👀 ballotbox.scot/sp26-edinbur... "(With boundary changes) This has created hands-down the best constituency that has ever existed for the Scottish Greens, better even than the former Glasgow Kelvin."
- 🌳The Greens helped get this Bill into Parliament, now it’s time for action to restore nature for good
- Last November my father took his last breath surrounded by family after suffering for a long time. The choice of medically assisted death allowed him to choose how he died. Thank you to STV for allowing me to tell his story. news.stv.tv/politics/for...
- 💯days to go! With more MSPs we can and will do even more to cut the cost of living, deliver climate action and stand against the politics of hate being peddled by parties like Reform. It's time to bring back hope - join the fight today: greens.scot/join
- 🌍 At a time when nature is in crisis, Scotland needs ambition, not rollback. The Natural Environment Bill can be a turning point, and the Scottish Greens are determined to make sure it delivers real change for our environment and future generations.
- It's Official: I'll be standing in Edinburgh Central constituency. A Green win here would make history and polling this week says it's possible. 💚💚
- 4 in 5 18-24 year olds would be willing to get the #HPV vaccination knowing it helped prevent 6 types of cancer. If you’re under 25 & missed the vaccination at school, you can get it from your GP. Find out more for #CervicalCancerPreventionWeek eveappeal.org.uk
- Calling Linlithgow residents and Loch users! I am hosting a community meeting focused on the future of Linlithgow Loch. Interested? Please RSVP by emailing lorna.slater.msp@parliament.scot with the subject “Attending – Linlithgow February Meeting”
- Edinburgh Central as a place of diversity, creativity and compassion. Our city thrives when people feel secure in their homes, confident in their futures and connected to their communities. That is why I am standing to be the MSP for Edinburgh Central

- We will continue to negotiate in good faith rather than playing Labour’s cowardly games and walking away. If the First Minister is prepared to be bold, the Scottish Greens will work with him to deliver a #Budget to protect our climate and communities 🌎 greens.scot/news/budget-...
- 🖊️Staff, students, and constituents across Edinburgh have written to me their concerns about the continued ties the University holds with Israel, and the repeated reluctance to divest. This week I wrote to Peter Mathieson to ask what the University is doing to support all involved.
- "But how will you pay for it!?" #ScottishBudget Tax. The. Rich.

- 💰This budget is an opportunity to show that tackling the cost of living crisis is not just a slogan, but a commitment backed by real investment

- In 2026 we must counter the far right's divisive message, building solidarity across our communities, recognising the mutual benefits created by a welcoming society, and supporting movements that celebrate difference and diversity💚 greens.scot/news/2026-mu...
- When access depends on term dates rather than a child’s age, it creates a postcode lottery and undermines those goals 🏫
- We are powered by people like you. People who want real change for Scotland and our planet. Please chip in to our campaign to put people and planet before profit ⤵️ greens.scot/donate

- 🍎 No child should ever go hungry at school. Free School Meals are one of the simplest and most effective tools we have to reduce child poverty and level the playing field for every child in Edinburgh and beyond.

- Edinburgh’s future is being built right now in college workshops, kitchens, studios and training yards. The students learning there are the people who will wire our homes, service our buses, run our labs and keep the whole city moving 👇
- Great to visit Adam at Argonaut Books this afternoon to discuss the importance of supporting independent businesses. Leith is rightly proud of its unique independent shops, pubs and restaurants! It is so important we support them year round! @argonautbooks.bsky.social

- 💷 There is a better way to build a fairer, better society for people and planet, and it starts with taxing the super-rich. #TaxTheKing!
- 📚 Large chains grow – often at the expense of fair working practices and environmental standards - and the independent businesses that give neighbourhoods its soul are put at risk 👇

- I want to extend my full support to staff threatened with compulsory redundancy at the University of Edinburgh. I have today written to the Principal imploring him to change direction.
- 🌍 The Scottish Government must urgently revise its climate plans to meet the scale of the emergency. That means restoring climate ambition, acknowledging the science and taking real action to decarbonise our economy in a way that supports workers and protects our environment 👇
- We urgently need a statement from the Scottish Government on the closure of the Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran. Exxonmobil are destroying the planet, the surrounding community in Fife and the livelihoods of hundreds of workers by pulling the plug on production. This is not a Just Transition.
- Why should workers under 18 be paid different rates to do the same job? Young people don’t get a discount on their rent or their food bills ⬇️
- We are almost at a record high membership 👀👇
- Bus services should be run in the public interest rather than corporate profits, with affordable, accessible and reliable services for all communities 🚌 greens.scot/news/greens-...
- For a lot of people and animals, the period from the end of October to Hogmanay can be a dangerous and stressful time, and bonfire night is often the worst of it. Thank you to the emergency services and everyone who worked to make Bonfire Night safer this year ✨
- Zohran Mamdani has built a people-powered movement of hope, the likes of which hasn’t been seen in the US for decades. There is a global movement for hope in these times of political darkness. Join us as we put that hope back into Scotland, our time is now ⤵️
