- Engagement für #Wissenschaftsfreiheit in Deutschland heißt in einer Zeit von Einsparungen auch Einstehen für Forschung jenseits der „etablierten Disziplinen“ die von Kürzungen am meisten betroffen sind. Der Einsatz für eine vielfältige Forschungslandschaft inkl. Disabilty Studies ist daher Zentral.

Die Vertreter*innen der selbsternannten bürgerlichen Mitte sind so dermassen lost. Die sehen nicht mal, was die Stunde geschlagen hat, wenn die AfD gleich auf mit ihnen liegt.

- Anekdote vom DAVO Kongress 2025 in Erlangen: “Per E-Mail forderte der AS-Beauftragte uns auf, den Begriff ‚Genozid‘ nicht zu verwenden & Vortragstitel anzupassen. Durch den wenig subtilen Hinweis, er habe den Oberstaatsanwalt informiert, drohte er implizit mit juristischen Folgen.”
- Ein Schelm wer hier einen versuchten politischen Eingriff in die Grundgesetzlich garantierte Wissenschaftsfreiheit sieht. Die Angriffe auf die Wissenschaft im deutschland gehen nicht nur von der AFD aus.

- Reposted by Dr. Ilyas SalibaJuristisch ist der Fall Oury Jalloh abgeschlossen, doch auch 21 Jahre später muss der Umgang mit Beweisen & der Aufklärungswille der Staatsanwaltschaft hinterfragt werden. Erst letztes Jahr belegte das unabhängige Recherche Zentrum, dass relevante Telefonmitschnitte nie Teil der Ermittlungen waren.

- “Universitäten sind zu Recht demokratisch und unabhängig organisiert. Nur so ist eine freie Wissenschaft gewährleistet.” Allerdings haben Professor*innen besonders viel Machtfülle was Machtmißbrauch begünstigt & die institutionalisierte unterrepräsentation der Mehrheit der Forschenden zementiert.
