- When I was a kid, #pretendpanel, not so much. I thought it was adults being boring. There was also a large element of being told it wasn't my place to participate. But as I became an adult myself, I began to understand the implications of those boring adults things on everything in my life. 1/4

- My #pretendpanel questions this month are all quite selfishly themed 😅 It's Waitangi Day here in NZ on the first weekend, then Valentine's Day the next. Then it's the Auckland Pride Parade, and the final weekend is the launch of the anthology I helped organise. Jumping all over the place this month!

- Reposted by Hiria DunningI tend to have/ enjoy writing characters that are passive &introspective. They absorb & process the events around them, either for their own sanity or other reasons. Now, however, I'd like to focus on more reactive & explosive characters that demand the direction of their plots. #pretendpanel
