- Congrats to Joanna Wardlaw on new MRC funding for Cerebral Small Vessel Disease research. cSVD = major cause of stroke & around 40% of dementia cases; a common but neglected disorder with no effective treatment. This study will focus on 2 drugs to see if they slow/reverse cSVD. edin.ac/4j7JXNE
