- @dorsetraptors.bsky.social Kestrel with what I took to be a shrew. I spent 2hrs watching this Kestrel on and off. Mostly going from dead tree snag to snag with some Hovering and in that 2hrs this is the only prey I saw caught. Though she could of caught while I was scanning round for other birds

- There's a Buzzard here today. The Rooks tried to mob it out of the Oak so that they could continue with their acorn collection undisturbed, but this bird is persistent & stayed in the tree. There are 3 young rabbits in the hedge opposite who are I think, the object of this bird's desire. 🦉 #raptors
- Hi @iand777.bsky.social All is well - this fine young buzzard simply has fine leg feathering - see at 27s. Note that all @btobirds.bsky.social rings are fitted under license and would also be clear to see on the lower leg. Thanks! p.s. maybe ask Santa nicely for a tripod for your Xmas...
