Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

Or you express solidarity with someone you treat as a hero, who might be assisting the airbrushing of those crimes. There’s a choice to be made.

A million pilot programs show the same thing: when people are given enough money to afford housing, homelessness ends. Other supports matter, but housing comes first. Not policing. Not moralizing. Homes.

You can DO hope scared, angry, sad etc... Hope doesn't find us. We make hope through action and struggle. It's a practice of living and is re-made daily.

- Seeing some folks jumping into mobilizing for the 1st time & not know the difference between an activist & an organizer. I would strongly suggest listening to the latter. They’ve been doing this for a long time, maybe their whole careers, they are in it for the marathon, & THEY WILL KEEP YOU SAFE.
- Something about working on climate for 25 years is that some patterns are instantly recognizable. For eg, when the media establishment denies, delays & then gives in such a way that there is no building power towards consensus, just an unhealthy debate chamber that will perpetually generate clicks.

- This global neoliberal empire is in collapse, and it will create unimaginable devastation as it falls. As has always happened in human history. But we determine what emerges out of the ashes. We decide what is kept safe. We protect what must survive. We nourish what will thrive. We hold the future.
