- Reposted by CassandraEdmonton’s housing progress is at risk. 🚨 Next week, City Council considers a motion to roll back 8-home builds that made 2025 a record year. We need more housing options, not less. Tell council to protect housing progress. Send an email with our tool now! www.growtogetheryeg.com/email-council

- 🚨 ACTION ALERT This Monday, Council will consider undoing years of housing progress. Back up for debate is reducing the number of units permitted from 8 to 6. We need your help to push back. Email council now using our easy 30-second tool. 👇 www.growtogetheryeg.com/email-council
- Reposted by CassandraI get the compromise behind a seasonal bike lane. Skeptics might be more open if it’s removed when least used. The problem: it makes it very difficult to build a culture of winter cycling. You reinforce the seasonal disparity. No winter lanes → no winter cyclists → no need for lanes in winter

- Today marks the first time I've taken an ETS bus since 2020. It wasn't overly intentional but my bike usually gets me where I need/want to go. That freezing rain isn't going to stop me from brunching with friends 😤
- You gotta know when to tap out. Called for a rescue while out with my bike. I knew freezing rain was on the forecast but it's bad out there. That is just ice on the seat.
- Starting the early steps into the new role, while doing the current one and speed running the job description update. A description that hasn't been updated in probably 10 years. I made that role what it is today, I'll have to do the same with the new one.
- Reposted by CassandraHey Edmonton friends, the plans for Wîhkwêntôwin's neighbourhood renewal are VERY good. Please help keep them that way (and ask for MORE) in the city's survey (ends Feb 8!). engaged.edmonton.ca/buildingwihk...

- Reposted by CassandraHey @edmontonoilers.bsky.social and Rogers Place: I hope I never see this separatist loser performing in your building again. There are plenty of more talented artists in Alberta who are both Albertan AND Canadian, and are NOT seditionist traitors. #Oilers #yeg #ableg #cdnpoli

- So you would rather pay twice per year to install and uninstall infrastructure? Continuously block traffic (make congestion) and cause confusion for all users. How about we just plow sooner when infrastructure is more visible and people not to park further and further from the actual curb.

- Ugh. I think I need to practice talking myself up/about myself. Applied and received an interview for an internal role and still got nervous as shit. Hopefully they saw through my nervousness. So strange to be interviewed by people you work with every day.

- Grumpass #yegbike report: - Shared streets suck. Close passes coming out of a school zone, yep. - Alt routes (not designated shared streets) more iced up than I'm comfy with - City maintained is HELLA slick ice on 118 Ave/Kingsway. Avoid if you can or be braver than I. - Blatchford path is sanded
