Just another Edmontonian. 🚲
- Reposted by Keaton H#yeg now has $62M/yr of new revenue from mature neighbourhood infill compared to 2016. That's over $330M added to city coffers All using the same roads, pipes, preserving farmland and enabling neighbourhood-level shops. All of this is thanks to Edmonton's pioneering approach to urban redevelopment
- I’m part of this team. The Bissell centre is a great charity and especially needed right now.

- Build new roads but don’t hide behind “safety” just be honest that you want to speed up cars.
- Reposted by Keaton HEdmonton’s housing progress is at risk. 🚨 Next week, City Council considers a motion to roll back 8-home builds that made 2025 a record year. We need more housing options, not less. Tell council to protect housing progress. Send an email with our tool now! www.growtogetheryeg.com/email-council
- Reposted by Keaton HEdmonton coming in at #8 is pretty damn impressive! That's why I'm so confused why so many hate ETS. I adore the system here and compared to the HSR back in Hamilton, it's night and day. Just gotta keep expanding the system more and more 😃 #yeg #transit youtu.be/17upoRCn01s?...
- It really does seem like Edmonton made the worst choice on micro mobility share. High cost and limited range just leads to anti social behaviour and a negative attitude towards scooters.
- Can we not do ribbon cutting ceremonies for “safer access, better connectivity” roads if those roads don’t even have sidewalks.
- I can’t wait to get a comparison photo of century park once it opens.

- I now have to find a new favourite taco spot ☹️. You can’t convince me that this is not just a part of Edmonton’s failure to make downtown streets pleasant to exist on.
- We are being lied to about renewables. Great video by technology connections running through the arguments against solar power.
- The new velodrome and rec centre is beautiful but the shared streets connecting it sure aren’t. Let’s hope that some of the next budget goes into improving some of the old shared streets.
- Whyte avenue businesses: - intentionally move to the most pedestrian friendly area in Edmonton - complain it’s not car oriented enough
- Saving for when they inevitably try to ban bike lanes.
- Moving to 90 sgm would be throwing away the valley line investment. It’s a vicious cycle. No density, low ridership, less demand for safe infrastructure, more sprawl, more congestion.
- Come see them at the oil kings game Sunday 👇. Or don’t give Katz more money, both are good options
- We shouldn’t forget that this is what the Alberta separatist want. Allowing the the vote is an implicit endorsement of what’s happening in Minnesota.
- I hadn’t been to RAM since it opened. I still miss the feel of the old location but it’s definitely worth a trip.
- Reposted by Keaton HEdmonton's community feedback wrapped is here! 📊 - Average Age: 65 - Top Genre: Not In My Backyard (Remix) - Vibe: "I support building more homes, but..." - Renters Present: Error 404 Not Found.
- Fitting to get this delivered today
- I feel like the media should be looking into this case harder. How was speed not a factor if the woman was dragged/thrown 20 feet? Why was the initial statement that the light was green? Are there other witnesses?
- I visited the intersection of Edmonton’s first pedestrian fatality. Lots of talk about it being illegal to cross on one side. The sign prohibiting crossing is not visible if you are walking north to south. #yegbike
- Of course people will blame the person just trying to walk home for crossing where the city put up a sign prohibiting it. No question of why such a dangerous road cuts through a neighbourhood. Why a giant SUV was on the road in the first place. People shouldn’t die even if they make a “mistake”
