Bumbling around
- I once read somewhere: “If one person calls you an ass, they’re probably an ass. If everyone calls you an ass - you’re an ass”.
- In other words: The poorest 90% of Americans are being exploited and exhausted to fund the fancies of the wealthiest 10%.
- I knew #BBCRADIO4 was out of touch, but a whole hour of “poor me” from landlords that can only have 2 instead of 3 spare houses, and are horrified at having to pay some NI on their lazy income - when the rest of us have been paying NI forever and seen house prices more than triple in our lifetime.

- Looks like they’re going to dismantle the GOP guys.
- If they were positively identified, why were the not arrested? This is so clearly illegal..where the hell are your leaders?
- This makes pantomime illegal? Jesus Christ. “Free Speech absolutionist party of small government” Dangerous. Vicious. Very clearly - not hyperbole - fascist.

- Reposted by Alex SterlingIsrael has systematically bombed homes, residential towers, hospitals, and shelters in Gaza City, killing dozens of Palestinians and forcibly displacing thousands of others. This is what Israel has done in the past 24 hours alone.
- Reposted by Alex SterlingSo not surprising that the people who fetishize assault rifles kill more Americans than those who don't.
- Reposted by Alex SterlingIt's very worth noting that these are the conditions *all* detainees are held in. Not just the "dangerous criminals" who make up a tiny fraction. ICE attracts people who despise immigrants, and the cruelty is the point.
- This is how the US now treats its friends.
- This is a sensible take. Wealth inequality has SKYROCKETED in my lifetime. Tax 👏 the 👏 ultra 👏 rich
- Has anyone else noticed how all of these angry Yob “I gut no GCsE” types are all really rather short? I wonder if that’s what makes them so angry and hateful. Isn’t Yaxley something like 5ft 6?
- When someone shows you who they are…believe them.

- Reposted by Alex Sterlingtherecount For the second time in three weeks, the DOJ has dropped charges against a client represented by Pam Bondi's brother. Brad Bondi’s winning streak is raising eyebrows over possible conflicts of interest — although the DOJ insists Pam Bondi had “no role” in the decisions.

- Reposted by Alex SterlingThis man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for. But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

- Reposted by Alex SterlingCan anyone explain why the Government is still doing most of its communications through a website whose owner is now openly rallying the far right to trigger a violent insurrection on our streets?
- Reposted by Alex SterlingNot certain how obvious this is to non-Brits, but every single person pictured at far-right marches in England looks like somebody you would cross the road to avoid on a Friday night, especially if they were in a group.
- Reposted by Alex SterlingAppalled by the violent scenes of police being attacked at the Tommy Robinson rally today. Those responsible should face the full force of the law. These far right thugs do not speak for Britain.

- Reposted by Alex SterlingThe fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

- Why is an American interfering in UK politics? He doesn’t even know how li g our election cycle is. Also - the person alleged to have killed a right wing christo-authoritarian (at best) this week was… another right wing fascista. All evidence shows majorly of violence is from THE RIGHT.
- Most hostile to debate? Didn’t Kirk become famous precisely because of the willingness of universities to allow him to debate on their grounds? How nonsensical.

- Reposted by Alex SterlingIt’s possible to condemn a person’s death without glorifying their life. We can acknowledge the tragedy of a life lost while still speaking honestly about their beliefs and actions. Compassion doesn’t require silence, and honesty doesn’t erase humanity.

- Bad enough, but what’s worse is that it only happens in one direction.
- How is this not common sense? How can anyone read this and think “bad take”?
- The guy didn’t deserve to die for his views, however vitriolic they were. He also didn’t deserve a minutes silence from European nations that he had absolutely nothing to do with, and that almost none of whom had never heard of him. The US doesn’t even hold a minute for their own killed senators.
