- According to Btselem, the IDF killed 89 Palestinians in the last six days. Some of them were, according to Israeli military sources, Hamas/Islamic Jihad activists on Israel's hit list (that is, it was retribution rather than specific threat). The vast majority of casualties were civilians.

- It's a familiar pattern. Israel perpetrates a crime which has the potential to shock and attract global attention (it's not easy at the age of the polycrisis) some critics rush to tell us "no there's nothing new here, it's always been like this" Please explain to me how this helps?
