Our Tech Watch Core is testing Meteor Biotech's CosmoSort platform for precise cell and tissue isolation in spatial biology.
CosmoSort uses an infrared laser to pick out defined cells or tissue regions while keeping their surroundings intact, combining imaging and cell retrieval in one workflow.

New collaborative work done with the Fordyce lab (Stanford), Lammertyn lab (KU Leuven), and the VIB Flow Core in Ghent.
By merging droplet microfluidics with high-speed flow sorting, enabled by a 3D‑printed corkscrew mixer, the team processed over 1 million droplets at ~480 Hz with 89% accuracy. 👏
