- Carmageddon on Elm Row - echelon parking in the parallel parking encroaching on cycleway; parking in crossing area; parking on footway outside shops. This is supposed to be a place for people not a car park! Why no wardens? How about some signs to guide drivers?? @jackrmcaldwell.bsky.social
- Also blocking the Zebra. A 3rd driver rolled up and joined these 2 with his front wheel into the cycleway. He responded to my polite request to back off!
- #EdTravcyc The Mound is closed. Heavy traffic on Lothian Road

When we stop imagining and start doing, change happens. @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social @edi.bike @chasbooth.bsky.social

- The Gayfield wandering manhole cover is on the move again. It’s been like this for several years thanks to Trams To Newhaven. Apparently responsibility is unclear but surely CEC are responsible enough to at least bolt it down for now like this one in a New Town pavement. Amazing nobody injured yet.

- So much for side-on parking on Elm Row - drivers parked right into the cycleway and on the pedestrian access/crossing to the bus stop. @jackrmcaldwell.bsky.social

- Anyone know when the works on Elm Row are going to be resumed and Completed? There is still the cycle access to/from Montgomery Street to be done and removing the cycleway between the bus stop and carriageway - the main driver for the works!

- Another collision on Dublin St :( - somebody on a bike that ended up under a car. Police on the scene. Info from a third party. No other details. They need to sort this junction out once and for all instead of these half-hearted measures.
- Strava “Local Legend” for riding Foot of the Walk to Dock Street only 3 times! Hopefully there will soon be hundreds riding it! New features including hand-hold and footstand to avoid need to dismount at signals; some smooth tarmac and some fancy cobbly bits and place-making. Working Sunday!

- @jackrmcaldwell.bsky.social PS something needs to be done about the London Rd cycle crossing from Elm Row - the cycle signals in the Elm Row are set a long way back from the junction and on the other side of a pedestrian crossing.
