- I look extremely cute today and no one has commented on it. I feel like Shannel in season one of Drag Race.
- For those of you who do not know, when asked who should be eliminated Shannel said something like “I think you should eliminate me because none of you has told me that I’m -beautiful-“ (And then got a bunch of compliments)
- Once of my cats is making noises in her sleep right now and in this moment I feel so blessed.
- I'm trying to give the new Wuthering Heights film the benefit of the doubt when it comes to costume design. Because I do think strict devotion to historical accuracy can crush artistic freedom. It can prevent a director from fully embracing their vision!
- And I thought the costumes for Frankenstein looked bad until I saw them within the context of the film. Within the film they become incredible, and from what I've seen it has the best costume design of last year.
- HOWEVER. I see a dress with a hoop skirt as an undergarment and I see the hoops through it???? I immediately distrust you. There are supposed to be enough petticoats to make the hoops invisible. If it's a purposeful decision then exaggerate it. Otherwise it looks like shit.
- People have forgotten how little muscle mass a twink is truly supposed to have.
- The most important part of Anime Club AU is "Lunar Angel Yoru," Mihawk's original magical girl corruption comic that starts off as mindless smut and then develops a plot.
- He makes this comic because Crocodile has a magical girl corruption fetish but he cannot bring himself to roleplay something bad happening to one of his magical girls. So Mihawk makes a surprisingly well drawn comic where it's canon.
- Anime Club AU taste in anime- Crocodile: the most moeblob bullshit. Cute girls doing nothing. Cute animals doing nothing. Occasionally magical girl series. He wants stuff to be CUTE. (Crocodile's gap moe.)
- Shanks: the most basic shonen anime/manga. He does not want moral complexity. He wants good to be good and bad to be bad and for the heroes to win. This desire has absolutely nothing to do with his home life.
- Shamrock: Does not watch anime, but Shanks isn't allowed to goes to conventions without him. He DOES have a debilitating addiction to strategy games like Civilization and claims the decision making skills are relevant to his future as a leader. (Also loves "child raising" sims, will not admit it.)
