- i installed the latest ps5 system update yesterday and it gave my controller a right-stick drift problem that wasn’t there before 😖
- i switched to my backup controller and it’s working better but even this one is having an intermittent right-stick drift too. it’s a lot harder to trigger but it wasn’t there before.
- ugh, today my backup controller is now also having some problems with the left stick too. how does a system update cause this??

- yeah i can agree with that, i do think it can be helpful to be able to easily tell if i follow the person but that button is so huge

- well, modern systems are 64bit, so you can divvy that up into eight 8bit systems
- for real though i bet it’s a fair number. i haven’t looked at NES emulation in a long time but surely it’s pretty cheap by modern standards. i’m tempted to just try running a bunch of them but i’m so out of touch right now i don’t even know what emulator to use

- ultimately nothing’s really changed here except the new U.S. ownership changes some of the wording. this stuff isn’t really any different than any other big platform.
- looking at the context of this, that’s just a list of examples of sensitive information that users might volunteer about themselves, and it’s saying they follow the law with this info. if you don’t share this info in the first place, they don’t have it

- Lost time dysphoria is I think one of the hardest things to deal with especially the older you are when you transition and it's not a reason to NOT transition but it does kind of suck that it is a form of dysphoria that I find TME folks do not do well at sympathizing with or granted grace about

- oh gosh that sounds painful i’m sorry. i hope your knee isn’t too badly injured! here in the US letting the walkways get so icy would be grounds for a lawsuit, which maybe isn’t the best way to handle this but at least it provides incentive to fix things

- good, it would definitely be odd for this to be it. i’m assuming if i just keep fixing stuff for long enough that won’t cause change, right? i have to actually figure out something else to do now?
- tonight i finally figured it out. i found over half the patterns just by trial and error before i finally realized how to read it (the remaster tweaks definitely helped!) is there any actual end though? the failures don’t ever seem to stop even though i can now fix everything

- FF6 has long been my favorite RPG, i’ve played it a dozen times, and i’ve never heard of this bug until now 😮 probably because i generally don’t use Relm (or if i do i just have her cast magic and ignore Sketch)
