I can't help but feel someone somewhere has already done this but I can't find anything so uh, weird request but, does anyone know how many of an 8 bit system like C64 or NES you can emulate at the same time on a modern system?

for real though i bet it’s a fair number. i haven’t looked at NES emulation in a long time but surely it’s pretty cheap by modern standards. i’m tempted to just try running a bunch of them but i’m so out of touch right now i don’t even know what emulator to use
