- What does the brain’s overall cortical organization look like in #FND? Most studies focus on individual brain connections or networks — we took a step back to see how the cortex is organized as a whole - using a gradient mapping approach. 2/n
- Gradients are continuous maps that capture key dimensions of how parts of the brain communicate -- showing smooth transitions instead of drawing sharp boundaries between resting-state functional networks. 3/n
