- game is 2D but has 3D colliders. rather than write full 3D colliders, i only need extruded 2D colliders so i just combine a 2D overlap with a z-projection overlap.
- i won’t really need rotating/transforming geometry that often but it kinda came for free with the 2D colliders so i might pull it out if i need it for a level gimmick or something
