- Reposted by Andrew WeldonI may delete this because it’s a bit spicy but it shouldn’t be lost on us that games being turned into TV is essentially harvesting the stories written by those who don’t have union representation or healthcare with WGA by those that do. Our stories are good enough for TV but the writers aren’t?

- Anyway here’s what eagles actually sound like if you’re not familiar. They are huge, genuinely *majestic* to watch swooping overhead—I stop and stare every single time—and they sound like hyenas on helium. 🦅
- I laugh every time I hear the neighborhood eagle(s) out and about doing their chirping calls because they sound SO SILLY compared to the hawk sounds that always get attributed to them.

If you are someone who writes intelligently about something like "massive company running ai versions of paid ads without small company's consent" idk, maybe reach out.

- This is the Yale professor's explanation for why he described the physical attractiveness of a student in an email to Epstein. He explicitly says he regrets nothing about their association. Again, I'm so happy Yale hired David Brooks to restore trust. yaledailynews.com/articles/gel...
- Reposted by Andrew WeldonContext: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday. It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.

- Reposted by Andrew WeldonThis is one of the reasons I have said that protecting neighbors from being kidnapped or beaten without due process IS the strategy for voting. This isn't about "immigration" whatever they say. It's about eradicating people of color from public life.

- I have to give a nod to AFI’s “Hearts Frozen Soil Thawed Once More By The Spring Of Rage, Despair, And Hopelessness” in large part because the song is also *30 seconds long* and is featured on Fat Wreck’s classic comp “Short Music for Short People.”
