- Reposted by Andy Bussthe Epstein files are really devastating because they remind me of how many girls and women miss out on professional opportunities, mentorship and careers because of how many powerful, rich and influential men only view girls and women — and interactions with them — through the lens of sex

- Reposted by Andy BussWhat is happening in United States is what happens when coercive powers of the state - arrest, detention, charges - are used as ends in themselves, and not as means of serving justice. They know the arrests and charges will not stick, but they don’t care. Intimidation, like cruelty, is the point.

In a legitimate criminal cases, political appointees don't have to first hollow out U.S. Attorney offices of objecting career prosecutors with integrity; federal judges don't kill the cases at the cradle, and the government doesn't fight tooth and nail to revive them.
