- Reposted by Daniel RíosHappy new year! My all sky camera imaged the sky every 15 seconds and this picture shows what happened in the sky in 2025. It shows the length of the night and day with the hourglass shape, the monthly lunar cycle with the diagonal bands, the elevation of the Sun at local noon, and lots of clouds.
- Reposted by Daniel RíosA bit late but a paper from our lab has been published! Human fingertip regeneration is a fact, it happens in children and adults (not only in children as it has been long believed). We describe here the regenerative phases and analyse the proteome of wound exudates. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
- Our updated preprint is now out! The feedback from @reviewcommons.org was fantastic, we are very grateful to our reviewers for their suggestions. The last figure (plus other things) is product of this feedback and we're certain every point strengthened our work! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

- Thanks to my colleague @ifetter.bsky.social I've got to learn so much about ants and their awesome biology. Just see how beautiful ant ovaries are! Congrats on this work, the first one of many to come :D
- Thrilled to share the first full paper from @AntLabUNAM! 🐜💥 Our paper examines how queen and worker harvester ants differ in ovarian morphology and gene expression, shedding light on the ovary as a hub for multiple physiological systems, not just reproduction. Check it out! rdcu.be/ePNP8
