- quiet announcement: i'm rebuilding the servers of Meatspace Ephemera for its fifth anniversary, so the game can stay up long term. Meatspace Ephemera is an online game about exploring a dying server. i was 18 years old. i will never make anything else quite like it.

- your messages meant the world <3
- there's a number of reasons the old backend needs to be completely replaced. one is that i had absolutely no idea what i was doing with server management at the time. another is that the game's code system relied on me constantly generating images and sending people emails.
- all that admin will be automated so that the game can live without me constantly having to revive it
- i cannot express the full range of emotions i'm feeling looking at this game running again. i was a very different person, and haven't changed a bit.
