Are text box sound effects out of fashion now? I’ve played a lot of unvoiced games recently and I don’t think any have had text box sounds, like typewriter, open and close, page ends etc. I miss them! I find it difficult to pay attention without any noises >.<
I really appreciate a little pop/bubble sound with some pitch variation. Very quiet, only play when a non-space/punctuation character is displayed, etc. While you don't have to do full unique sounds per character, bonus points for using a lower or higher version for big/small characters
