- The Washington Post announced Wednesday that it is beginning a widespread round of layoffs expected to impact the newspaper’s sports, local news, and international bureaus. The Post is laying off about 30 percent of ALL its employees, according to two people close to the decision. archive.ph/0eeHj
- Wave "Goodbye" to what was once a legendary and much beloved news organization. Readers seeking enlightenment will be left in darkness. Cutting three-in-ten company positions means more wire service copy from the AP and Reuters, and fewer enterprise stories from Post reporters. My heart aches. ☹️
- *SPOILERS IN VIDEO* This is probably the highlight of my television career to date.
- Bake-off fans! I chatted with @daviddennisjr.bsky.social about what it’s like to compete on the show—the prep, the behind the scenes logistics, Paul and Prue, all of it. 🧑🏻🍳
- Wow! Sincere congrats, Mina! I'd be floored to find myself in that position! (I'd also probably retire from baking immediately after the filming. I mean, how much further can one go, after a Hollywood handshake?) 😄👏💯
- Good time to reup this post from last month.

- This story should be getting massive media play! It's obvious there is criminal activity afoot and the fix was in, by the award of a $1.8 BILLION military contract to a tiny outfit having no prior experience with this type of construction work. In a real administration there would be charges! 😠
- ⚠️"Immigration Detention complexes"⚠️ that will house millions⚠️ are being rushed to construct so the govt has turned to military resulting in hiring sm firms that lack experience which inhumane conditions are the result⚠️ 🚨Army declines to release contract 🚨DHS declines comment 🚨Congress 'concerned'

- New @washingtonpost.com: Trump is planning to install a statue of Christopher Columbus outside the White House Officials are eying a spot by E St, north of the Ellipse with the terrific @oliviacgeorge.bsky.social
- WTF??? Columbus "discovered" and planted the flag of Spain on a small island in the Southern Bahamas. He then visited the islands now known as Cuba and Hispaniola, establishing a colony in what is now Haiti. Columbus never made it to what is now the United States. Nor did he "discover" America. 😐
- ICE's budget could fund the ACA (healthcare) extension and expand Medicaid to millions. Instead, it funds home invasions, family separation, and killing protesters. Republicans made this choice for you. Remember in November... #FundHealthcareOverICE
