Henrik Hololei had allegedly accepted flights and other freebies from by Qatar, while negotiating the EU's aviation deal with the country. This is welcome—albeit overdue—accountability. - We are deeply alarmed at allegations that Hungary set up a spying operation in Brussels, with the explicit aim of supplying information against the EU to the Hungarian government. The @europarl.europa.eu must immediately constitute a committee of inquiry.
- Last week, Moldovan voters rejected a sophisticated Russian interference campaign to put Moldova on a continued EU course. But the EU cannot see these results as an excuse to maintain the status quo: congratulations alone will not secure future elections. Read our analysis here⬇️
- Today is Universal Access to Information Day. But instead of being open towards its citizens, the European Commission has actually made it harder for outsiders to follow how it makes decisions. It's time for the EU to stop hiding behind rules that block transparency.

- According to reporting, the European Chemicals Agency has sought advice on so-called 'forever chemicals' from a consultancy that works for...the chemicals industry. We fail to see how this doesn't constitute a huge conflict-of-interest risk. Read our full complaint below⬇️
