- “this is how I think communism should work instead” says the person who isn’t a communist, and 50 tweets later reveals they think communism is a utopian fantasy. Thank you for your contributions about something you don’t support and don’t think can exist using words you don’t understand. Helpful!
- Watching Ben Shapiro lose audience and influence has been fun, tbh. Unfortunately, the right-wing commentators who've risen up in his place have been absolute lunatics, but at least Ben is struggling
- trying to record and mix my own vocals never fails to make me feel like a goofy gremlin. i'm sure that's why musicians with resources have producers and all the fancy studio accoutrements. because just sitting in a room recording yourself is very much a weird little gremlin activity.
- Rep Robin Kelly: “I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem — I'm standing outside of ICE headquarters & I want Kristi Noem to know I'm watching her — Congress is watching her — but most importantly, the American people are watching her & we do not like what we see. She must go. She must be impeached”

- one of the most mind numbing aspects of the epstein files is that this implicates so many people and feels like there needs to be massive consequences yet it feels underdiscussed. how is everyone not talking about all of this all the time
- this is a snippet (unmute for audio) from the song called "bloodbath" which uses some amen breaks even tho it's cliche. the lyrics are sort of about hippie sellouts? i'm just hoping that the fact that the sound is kind of an unbalanced mess will be some kind of weird asset for this album

- Epstein’s economic power among academics was made possible by a capitalist system that makes higher education dependent on the charity economy rather than a public good supported by taxing the rich
- Liam is home now and we are grateful to @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social for traveling to Minneapolis with him and his dad. Welcome home Liam ❤️❤️
- Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

- finding out that 100% of the "rude" tag warnings are applied manually by bsky mod staff has been enriching because now whenever i see a post that objectively rocks tagged "rude" i know that some bsky mod was getting mad about what a good post it is

- Personally, I think that anyone who was sending friendly emails back and forth with Jeffrey Epstein or attending events with him post-2008 should be thrown into an active volcano.
- Shot and chaser from new Epstein batch
- Not sure how @theonion.com stays on top of breaking news like this but the print edition just showed up at my house with this:
- Tom Morello live in Minneapolis
- every epstein file drop underscores how elite power operates through shared socio-economic networks, regardless of people's ideological differences, populist posturing, or public feuds

- BREAKING: Bernie Sanders is introducing an amendment to cut ICE’s $75 billion funding increase, and to use those funds to restore the federal cuts to health care.

- the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.
- The City’s Budget is our future. And you deserve to know how it works.
- This is a very small request. If you live in the US please do not purchase any of our videos tomorrow (Fri Jan 30) because there is supposed to be a general strike against ICE.

- ICE is upset that ICE isn't welcome in restaurants after ICE ordered food at a restaurant, ate it, then arrested restaurant employees, and ICE believes this is someone else's fault, do I have that right?

- israel’s censorship regime! DHS has lists of american “domestic terrorists” that they surveil on the basis of their anti israel & anti ice activism. if you cover it, you’ll get banned over frivolous rules that ADL will establish ahead of time. surely this’ll make ppl love israel!

- What folks on the ground have explicitly said and made very clear in their actions is they are sick of media only covering the pain and chaos, none of the kinship and resilience. They’re asking press to document their humanity. Chasing chaos doesn’t do that.

- Very little if anything seems to have changed on the ground. ICE is still out there terrorizing neighborhoods and trying to disappear neighbors. None of us on the ground are buying this bullshit. We will keep organizing and fighting.
