- Having a can of cider tonight, after not drinking any alcohol since like September/October (no particular reason just not a big drinker) and my face feels very warm from it 😂. Only 3.4% but I'm very much a lightweight even on the best of days
- Bloody devastated. Went to my local butchers only to find they've permanently closed! Would go in there every few weeks. They did great sausages & bacon, and steaks were 👌. Was less than a 10 minute walk away. Nearest is now 10 minute drive! Some small community grief here 😅. Support your local btw

- I've got one of those smart sensors for my heating, and apparently mine is very lonely as if it doesn't detect movement for like an hour it switches the status to 'Away' and turns the heating off. No I'm just in the other room! Next to the radiator that you keep switching off!

- We essentially have that with the smart device. Not individual temps per room, but we have ours set to a schedule. Not sure if a new update did it, but it's only lately that it seems to think that if it doesn't see movement every hour or so that we're on holiday and ignores the schedule 🤨

- If he messages, you need to go on the offensive and spam him with fake texts and generic phishing scam texts. Claim you've had the issue for a while, some kind of virus. He'll block it soon

- A copy of Spider-Man 3 would have really tied the collection together. They've traded a middle Harry Potter for the final Die Hard film. Controversial but daring
- I've played Death Stranding 2 now for over 16 hours and I think I have only bumped into BT's in the wild like 3 times. And not once was did they detect me. Can't tell if they are way easier and less in this game, or I'm just better at delivering cargo 🤔

- Wasn't expecting to be taking our gerbil to after hours vets last night but Cookie wasn't well. Wasn't good & being so small & her age we had her put to sleep sadly. The vet agreed but still sucks. I WFH in my office with them so today has been rough. Whisper on her own now. Cookie on the right 👇

- Made sticky toffee pudding for my wife's family. My younger sister-in-law took some home to have later. I received a text a few hours later saying "Absolutely bussin pudding" which I believe means they enjoyed it 😂
- Can't believe I'm back to work already, after spending 3/4 of my time off sick with flu/C0VID. Still hacking up a lung at the slightest physical exertion but overall feeling better. Just fatigued from it. Not the holiday break I was hoping for but ah well, back to the grind we go!
- Finished Stranger Things. The weakest season IMO, and I do have issues with it but the conclusion was alright. Seeing some tear into the ending, and they clearly weren't there for Dexter or Game of Thrones like me because this isn't even in the same league. At least I'd watch this season again!

More persistent & it sounds daft but the last few times I had it it made my nose feel a similar specific discomfort. And the nose always knows. - I started that game and loved the first hour or so, but I think I have a bit of thalassophobia and that game triggered it massively 😅. One day I'll stop being a wimp and finish it...maybe
- Still no joy, & nostrils that are chapped and on fire. Decided today to binge anime I had started. Watched 16 episodes of Vinland Saga and finished it (that's how you do a narrative and deliver!) and now I'm back on Cowboy Bebop. 90's anime just hits right when poorly. Something about the feel of it
- Merry belated Christmas all! My phone got stuck in a boot loop on Christmas eve & only just sorted it by wiping the phone. Hard doing a Christmas dinner without a phone for notes/recipes/timers 😅. And now me and my wife have had the flu since boxing day. We're at the shivering stage now! Fun stuff🤧

- We're hosting Christmas this year, and got elderly family round so if I get sick we need to cancel, & we've ordered a lot of food.
