I've got one of those smart sensors for my heating, and apparently mine is very lonely as if it doesn't detect movement for like an hour it switches the status to 'Away' and turns the heating off. No I'm just in the other room! Next to the radiator that you keep switching off!
We use tado valves.. you set a temperature you want the room to be and schedules and just leave it to do its work
then if you happen to have the day off or something so you're in a room you are not usually in you can manually turn on the heat on the app
We essentially have that with the smart device. Not individual temps per room, but we have ours set to a schedule. Not sure if a new update did it, but it's only lately that it seems to think that if it doesn't see movement every hour or so that we're on holiday and ignores the schedule 🤨
