- The way that Lorehold here "fixes" one of the bigger issues with Miracles is a strong design in my mind (having to take that "Separate Miracle" draw every draw step, even just to fake it) Lorehold's fix is by doing it only while they're around, so every draw is an Event, rather than annoying reflex

- Between Lorwyn/Shadowmoor and Lorwyn Eclipsed, there's a ton of direct card references (Figure, Bitterblossom), mechanical rhyming (Vivid, Behold), or just iterated reuse (Evoke Mythics) but the part that interests me most out of all of it is how Storytelling has changed in 18 years.

- We've been Cube Drafting on the weekend once a month, here's the last few decks. Boros Aggro w/ Recall, Naya Planeswalker, and Flash Control w/ no real win-con. Being able to Vintage Cube Draft in paper has been an excellent time, there've been some wild games.

- 2-1 from last night's Lorywn Prerelease, all the Changelings play great, the Elf Lord felt extremely good, and the Treefolk that recurs 3 drops for -1/-1 counters was wildly strong and easily reusable. Lots of incidental life gain around.
