He researches the fate and transport of contaminants in agriculturally impacted streams, focusing on how environmental factors influence antimicrobial resistance and nutrient uptake under climate change.
- Our second co-chair for the virtual events committee is Hazel Quarterman, and NSF RaMP post-bac fellow at Georgia Southern University. She is investigating the effects of saltwater intrusion on leaf decomposition in freshwater wetlands on a barrier island.
