Lindsey Rasnake, Ph.D.
Recent PhD graduate from the Royer Lab at IU-Bloomington - studying freshwater biogeochemistry! Currently on the hunt for postdocs that allow me to stomp around in lakes, rivers, and streams 💧
- I'm looking for postdoc positions in freshwater biogeochemistry! Interested in any projects investigating nutrient and carbon cycling, phytoplankton coupling with dissolved organic matter cycling in human-altered landscapes, or hydrology and spatial modeling!
- #AGU2025 is underway! Who knew beignets and alligator po' boys mesh so well with science?
- Freshly defended and feeling FANTASTIC! It's surreal to see this chapter come to a close after so many years of hard work. Next, securing a postdoc (feel free to share any open positions!!) 🌊 🧪
- Summer of science anyone? 1) Talked tile drains at SFS in San Juan 🚜💧, 2) Chatted about DSi and HABs on the Ohio River at Univ of Cincinnati 🦠🌊, PLUS 3) was accepted into the Headwaters Leadership Academy 👩🎓. This fall, I’ll be teaching Environment and People at IU during my LAST semester of my PhD!

- Reposted by Lindsey Rasnake, Ph.D.🚨 Another major round of #NSF terminations today 😞. Please report and encourage your colleagues to as well! We need this info to shed light on the damage caused, and to organize and advocate for science that includes and benefits all. airtable.com/appGKlSVeXni... 🧪
- 🚨Report your NSF grant terminations! 🚨 We are starting to collect information on NSF grant terminations to create a shared resource as we have for NIH. The more information we collect, the more we can organize, advocate, and fight back! Please share widely! airtable.com/appGKlSVeXni...
