- It is imperative that no library is closed. Not only are many of these libraries in locations with little public transport, but some are the only community space anyone from the public can access and use. Not to mention we need to address falling literacy levels. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

- We would encourage communities in Aberdeenshire to continue organising and campaign. This news changes very little, and all 13 libraries are at risk of closing with a far reduced service, potential loss of community archives and resources that have been curated over many decades.
