- Having #MECFS is a nightmare. I am so angry about this. But I can’t be angry because that emotional exertion could trigger post-exertional malaise (PEM). And I can’t use any coping strategies like going for a run because they all require physical or cognitive exertion.

- This is horrifying. As a parent of a kid that falls under the trans umbrella, I honestly don’t know what to say right now. This will kill kids. This goes against good science. The claims RFK Jr et al are making about gender affirming care are as real as “vaccines cause autism.”

- My husband opened my windows then I zoned out for a bit. Record low of 41.7 😬 To be fair I was aiming for 48-50F 🙃 It’s amazing how much better I sleep in a super cold room. I also wake up feeling less poisoned and with a clearer head. #MECFS

- I remember someone talking about this and thinking “thank god I only get post-exertional malaise (PEM) from sadness and anger.” 2 months later I triggered PEM from laughing too hard at Taskmaster 🫠 #MECFS is a literal thief of joy.

- Out of curiosity if you have #MECFS has exercising ever helped you increase your “functional capacity”? (screenshot in QT) For me to add exercise I have to take something else away. My #PEM threshold does not increase. I have yet to increase my functional capacity with exercise. 1/ #LongCovid
