i love my waters family and i wish only the best for them. however i do also think that once ryne gets a lil older and has time to think and talk about everything that happens. when they finally reunite in my verse, she should get to chew cred out big time before they share any sort of familiarity
i think katsu encourages it even. she's like "man i don't know how i'll feel when i see him again" and katsu's like "honestly you should just tell him. holding in the feelings won't do you any good. i think he'll probably be understanding but rest assured i'll back you up if he's not. promise"
and i do think cred is understanding about it. maybe responds with self-flagellation which she ALSO calls out bc it feels like deflection. the convo is basically "i've thought a lot about our past and i want you to know that i don't hate you but i refuse to take any shit like that from you again"

to be clear it's not "she's making sure he knows all the dumb shit he did," bc he doesn't need to be told that, especially not by her. he knows he fucked up.
