- Not sure, perhaps some of the Japanese series paintings. The thing with ink and watercolour that any mistake means having to redone the work from scratch, and in this case it is even more fragile as it’s made on Japanese thin paper. bsky.app/profile/seco...
- The shops in Haifa and in Tel Aviv Jaffa seemed to all run out (or don't carry) watercolour varnish, so I went to Jerusalem, going to the art shops there for the first time — "Art Set" and "Artistic Hands", both near to each other because both are near Bezalel art academy.
- Both had the varnish, and both had it cheaper than in Tel Aviv, with Artistic Hands having it at 70ILS per bottle. "Art Set" carries French Sennelier watercolour which I haven't tried before. I used their acryllic ink medium to dilute ink long time ago.

- Purim at Jaffa Port III פורים בנמל יפו III بوريم في ميناء يافا III
- Painting in ink and watercolour with a scene at the Container House (בית המכולות) at the Jaffa Port (נמל יפו ميناء يافا) of Tel Aviv Jaffa (תל אביב יפו تل أبيب يافا). Painted on the back of a postcard with a 1936 photo by Shimon Rudolf "Rudi" Weissenstein.
- Among other things, Bahrain National Museum has in their exhibition of books some example of writing material. Unlike East Asia where the writing is done with the brush, or Europe where it was done with a bird feather pen, wooden sticks fashioned as pens were popular in MENA.
- Of particular interest for me was this board. The paper, from what I understand, was loaded into this board under the strings, with the strings acting as guide lines. This eliminated the need to mark guide lines on paper, a need that many people writing or drawing have even now.
- Noticed this bear in Nahariya, thought it reminds me of Berlin, and indeed, turns out it's a bear painted by "A.Wolff" to commemorate partnership of Nahariya and Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg district. Among stuff drawn there's Tempelhof airport and the memorial to Berlin airlift.
